After watching the final of the European Championships in soccer in Downtown we drove to the Buntzen Lake area.

After watching the final of the European Championships in soccer in Downtown we drove to the Buntzen Lake area.
The mountains around the lake are between 1000 and 1500. There is still snow up there.

The trail goes around the lake, there are a lot of ups and downs. Kerstin coming down on one of the switchbacks.
From the lake you can see the Salmon Arm, this is a inlet from the ocean. In the winter time I was sky touring on the other side on Mount Seymour.
Finally we got to the lake.
We went for a swim, it was pretty cold so.
After the swimming we jumped on our bikes and rode back to the cars.
